Price negotiation

A shopper asks for a deal, then leaves.

Static prices meet real buying intent poorly.

Close the haggle above your floor.

Shoppers haggle. Your margin holds.

Sage negotiates real discounts inside a floor price you set. The floor is never shown and never crossed.

  • You set the floor
  • Never shown, never crossed
  • Every deal logged

Why it matters

Close the ones who would walk

A shopper asking for a deal is a shopper about to leave. Sage turns that moment into an order.

Protect every dollar of margin

You set a floor per product. Every offer is checked against it before it is ever spoken. No exceptions.

A lever your rivals do not have

Static prices treat every shopper the same. A negotiator meets real buying intent in the moment.

You stay in charge

Run it autonomous inside your caps, approval-first, or off. Change your mind any time.

How it works

How a deal closes

One shopper, one pair of trail runners, one haggle.

  1. Step 1 of 4

    The shopper asks

    • Any chance on the price? is a buying signal, not a support ticket.
    • Sage answers like your best floor person, in your voice.
  2. Step 2 of 4

    Sage counters inside your floor

    • You set a floor price per product, right in the catalog.
    • Every counter is recomputed against the floor before it is offered.
    • Three rounds at most, so a haggle never spirals.
  3. Step 3 of 4

    The deal closes

    • The agreed price locks for one hour and flows straight into checkout.
    • It applies to that exact cart, so a deal never leaks into a coupon.
  4. Step 4 of 4

    You see the receipt

    • Every negotiation lands in your decision ledger: asked, offered, closed.
    • Insights shows negotiated orders and what shoppers saved.

Never shown. Never crossed. Always logged.

The floor never enters the conversation. Sage only ever learns that an offer passed or failed, so it cannot leak what it does not know.

Trust and control

Powerful on the front. On a leash you hold.

A negotiator with your margin in its hands earns extra scrutiny. Here is the leash.

Grounded in your store

Prices, stock, and promos always come from your own data, never from guesswork.

Your rules, per action

Autonomous, approval-first, or off. You set the mode and the caps for each thing it can do.

Big calls wait for you

High-impact actions queue for your confirmation. Money always does.

Humans stay in the loop

When a conversation needs a person, it hands off cleanly instead of winging it.

Everything on the record

Every decision lands in a ledger you can open, audit, and reverse.

Live in three steps

1

Set your floors

Add a floor price to any product. No floor, no negotiation on that item.

2

Pick the mode

Autonomous inside your caps, approval-first, or off.

3

Watch deals close

Negotiated orders and shopper savings show up in your insights.

Fair questions

Can shoppers see the floor price?
No. The floor never enters the conversation. Sage only learns that an offer passed or failed, so it cannot leak what it does not know.
Will it discount for people who were happy to pay full price?
No. Negotiation starts when a shopper asks for a better price. Sage does not volunteer discounts to shoppers who never asked.
How deep can it go?
Never below the floor you set on that product, and never past the maximum discount cap you set for the store. Both are enforced on every single offer.
Can shoppers farm deals by asking again and again?
Rounds are capped at three per conversation, repeat asks are rate limited, and an agreed price expires after one hour. Farming runs out of road fast.
What happens on WhatsApp or voice?
The same negotiation with the same floor. Every channel runs through the same checks, so there is no soft side door.
Do I have to approve every deal?
Your call. Run it autonomous inside your caps, require an approval per deal, or turn it off entirely. You can change modes any time.
Where do I see what it agreed to?
Every negotiation is a row in the decision ledger, and insights shows negotiated orders, closing prices, and what shoppers saved.
What if I never want to discount at all?
Leave it off. Negotiation only exists on products where you set a floor and switch it on.
