How do you sell on more than one channel without doing double work?

Reach customers where they already are, while your store stays the single source of truth.

Selling in more places sounds like more sales, and it can be, but it can also be triple the work and a mess of mismatched stock. The trick is to keep one home base you own and treat the other channels as places to meet customers, not places to live.

  1. Step 1: start from your store, not a marketplace

Keep your own store as the home base that you own. Marketplaces and social shops are good places to meet customers, but you do not want your whole business living on rented land.

  2. Step 2: add the channels your customers actually use

That might be Instagram, TikTok, and a marketplace like Amazon. Pick where your buyers already are, not everywhere at once.

  3. Step 3: keep stock and prices in one place

Sell the same product in three places and you need one number for stock and price, or you will oversell and confuse people. Let your store be that one number.

  4. Step 4: bring the buyer home

A sale on a marketplace is a start. Give that buyer a reason to come back to your own store next time, where the margin and the relationship are yours.

Do this

Anchor on your own store, add only the channels your buyers use, keep one source for stock and price, and pull repeat buyers home.

You get

You show up where customers shop without doubling your work or handing your business to a marketplace.
